Project Overview
This whole-cottage interior painting project at a Lake Joseph property involved coordinating a complete colour refresh across multiple rooms — living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, and the kitchen — while the clients were in residence. Theresa developed the full colour palette, selecting tones that worked with the cottage's natural light exposure and existing furnishings. The result is a cohesive, layered interior that feels intentional rather than incremental, bringing the warmth of Muskoka's natural surroundings inside.
Scope of Work
Whole-cottage interior colour consultation with Theresa. Full surface preparation including filling, sanding, and priming throughout. Painting of walls, ceilings, trim, and doors in all rooms using Benjamin Moore Aura interior paint. Careful masking and protection of existing floors, furnishings, and fixtures throughout. Low-VOC product selection throughout for a healthy indoor environment. Clean, phased execution to minimize disruption to the clients' cottage stay.
